Adrian Stoica, Ph.D.
I worked as principal investigator in 3 projects. The first was a postdoc dealing with distribution models for rare and endangered plants in the Romanian Carpathians. The second concerned the habitat distribution and conservation of two Natura 2000 sites - ROSCI0314 and ROSCI0435. The third project is on the topic of article 17 reporting for Romania on 3 types of habitats from the Transylvanian region (freshwater, grasslands and rocky/scree habitats). Aside from my botanical background, I am fluent in R, I have decent knowledge of ArcGIS and some notions of Java for Android (I have developed my own app on the Romanian flora). My interests range from phytosociology/plant ecology to conservation and climate change impacts. I have published a total of 25 scientific papers as author or co-author, of which 10 in ISI Journals included in Web of Science Core Collection.
